2013: First-team All Mid-American Conference; MAC Gymnast of the Week (Feb. 26); Nominated for MAC Gymnast of the Year. Finalist for NIU's Ms. Victor E. Huskie Award for excellence in athletics, academics and community service. Was the Huskies' top all-arounder and one of the team's most consistent gymnasts in 2013. Became the Huskies' first All-MAC first team selection since 2009 and the first selected in a vote of league coaches. Was an alternate selection as an all-arounder to the NCAA Regionals. Set or tied her career highs in three events and in the all-around in 2013. Had seven top five finishes on floor, four on beam, three on bars and three on vault this year. Had seven scores of 9.750 or higher on floor, four scores of 9.700 or better on balance beam, five of 9.700 or higher on uneven parallel bars and seven of 9.725 or higher on vault. In the all-around, she had five scores of 38.750 or better, topped by the 39.025 versus Kent State. Following that meet, she earned MAC Co-Gymnast of the Week honors. Tied for eighth on floor exercise at the MAC Championships and was seventh in the all-around. NIU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week (Feb. 11); Victory Scholar (3.5 and above) in NIU's Academic Excellence Program; Named to the Academic All-State Team.

2012: Competed in all 12 meets for the Huskies as the team's sole all-arounder. Named to the All Mid-American Conference second team and the Academic All-MAC squad. Selected to compete at the NCAA Regional meet for the first time and scored a 38.475 in the all-around, including a 9.675 on floor exercise. Achieved career highs in all four events and in the all-around. Recorded 28 top five finishes and ranked in the top five on the team in four events. Placed first in the all around against Western Michigan (1-22), New Hampshire (1-28), Ball State 2-4) and Bowling Green (2-11) in four consecutive meets. Set her career and team season high in the all-around at Bowling Green with a score of 39.00. Received scores above 38.000 in the all-around on seven times. Won the floor exercise at Illinois State (3-4) with a score of 9.825. Set her career high on floor exercise against Bowling Green with a 9.850 to take third place. Finished second on balance beam against Illinois State (3-4) with a career high 9.775. Landed a career high 9.800 vault at the MAC Championships (3-24) where she also finished fifth in the all-around with a score of 38.900. Ranked third on the team on floor exercise where she averaged a 9.810, and on the vault with an average of 9.680.

2011: Began her Huskie career as a true freshman by competing as an all-arounder versus Kentucky and Illinois (1-8) where she compiled a score of 37.000 with a high score of 9.350 on vault. Injured on vault the next meet versus Eastern Michigan (1-16), returned to compete primarily as exhibition gymnast versus Kent State (2-20), Ball State (2-25) and UIC (3-1). Set a career high (exhibition) with a score of 9.700 in the uneven parallel bars versus UIC. Competed three times on balance beam in exhibition action in those meets and earned a season best of 9.475 in the UIC meet. Matched that score on vault (non-exhibition) in the same meet for her career best mark on that event.

Prep: Competed for her high school team and for American Academy of Gymnastics on club level. Won the Illinois state high school all-around title as a senior with a score of 38.275 after finishing second as a sophomore. Also won the state crown on the uneven parallel bars with a 9.65 routine and took second on both balance beam (9.575) and vault (9.75). Two weeks earlier, Gotlund won the sectional all-around competition with a 38.200 while scoring 9.65 on vault, 9.625 on floor exercise and 9.5 on uneven bars. Won the regional competition on bars with a 9.725 score and was second on vault (9.65) and beam (9.55) in that competition. Helped Warren Township to a third-place finish in the team competition at state as a sophomore. Was twice named Gymnast of the Year by the Pioneer Press, following her sophomore and senior seasons. Three-time all-conference and all-state gymnast. Her prep team won conference, regional and sectional titles her freshman season and took fifth place at the state meet. Skipped her junior season of high school competition in order to concentrate on her club competition. At the club level, was a four-time USA Gymnastics state and regional qualifier. Took second in the all-around and won the bars and beam competition at the 2010 National Senior Showcase Invitational. Helped her team to a second place finish.

Personal: Born Oct. 19, 1991 in Arlington Heights, Ill. to parents Gail and Ralph Gotlund. A pre-physical therapy major and Victory Scholar with a GPA above 3.5.
