2009: Regular in the line-up on bars and saw action in a pair of meets on beam as a freshman. Earned the highest bars score of the season for the Huskies with a 9.875 to take second at the State Championships (3/14). Competed in all 10 meets for the Huskies on bars and recorded five top five finishes. Scored above 9.725 six times, including a 9.775 at Minnesota (2/28). Took second versus Bowling Green (1/11) on bars and was third at Ball State (2/8) and Western Michigan (3/9) while scoring 9.725 in all three meets. Earned a season and career-best score of 9.675 on beam in season opener versus Bowling Green to take fifth. Competed on exhibition basis four times on balance beam and recorded a season best 9.700 at Minnesota.

Prep: Competed at Level 10 for two years for Gym-Kinetics and trained at United Gymnastics Academy in Frankfort, Ill. Named Hardest Worker (2006), MVP (2007), and Gymnast of the Year (2008). Missed the 2005-06 season due to an ankle injury. While in high school, earned honor roll status all four years. As a senior, completed 24 hours of community service while volunteering at local churches and for the American Cancer Society.

Personal: Born September 17, 1989 to Bill and Madeline Guerra of Orland Park, Ill. Plans to major in physical therapy. Named a Huskie Scholar with a GPA above 3.0.
