2011: Did not see action in any meets in 2011. Prep: Competed at USAG Level 10 in 2009 and 2010 for Gym Corner. Took fourth place on uneven parallel bars at the 2010 Illinois Level 10 State Championships with a 9.300. Also scored 9.425 on vault at the state meet en route to an all-around score of 36.625. Recorded a 9.200 on balance beam in December of 2008 and posted a 9.450 vault to win the 2009 Gym Corner Mickey Mouse Meet. Placed third on balance beam at the IGI Chicago Style Meet with a 9.000 in 2010. Scored a 9.075 on floor exercise in 2009 at the same event. Personal: Born Aug. 7, 1992. Parents are Rich and Kim Huffman. High school honor roll student carries a GPA above 3.8 and is an NIU Victory Scholar. A nursing major. |
