NIU Career Bests: Vault - 9.550 (vs. Bowling Green, 1-19-13); Floor - 9.325 (Exh. vs. Eastern Michigan, 3-1-13); Bars - 9.700 (State of Illinois Classic, 2-21-14)

2014: As an uneven parallel bars specialist, she participated in all but two events during the season. Her first action came as an exhibition competitor scoring 9.650 against Western Michigan (2-1). She entered the lineup at the State of Illinois Classic (2-21) posting her season and career best score of 9.700. She followed up that performance with a string of quality scores with 9.625 at Bowling Green, 9.550 against Central Michigan, 9.675 at the Eagle Invitational and 9.550 at Arizona State.

2013: In the line-up for the first three meets of the season on vault and competed exhibition on vault once and on floor twice. Top score came versus Bowling Green (1-19) with a 9.550 on vault. Earned a 9.475 on the event in the season opener versus Illinois State (1-13). Exhibition on floor versus Southeast Missouri State (2-2) and at Central Michigan (2-8).

2012: Competed as an exhibition gymnast on vault against New Hampshire (1-28) and Central Michigan (2-26).

Prep: Trained at GymNasti gym in Carol Stream, Ill. Competed at Level 10 for three years. A regional qualifier every season of her club career. Finished eighth in the all-around competition at Illinois state meet her senior year with a score of 35.775. Took fourth on beam at that event with a 9.250 and was seventh on both vault and floor exercise. Earned her personal best time in the all-around of 36.050 at the 2010 USAG Illinois state meet to take 10th place. Scored a career-high 9.350 to place sixth on beam at state. Won the vault with a career-best 9.400 at the Chicago Style meet in 2009.

Personal: Daughter of John and Janet Piepenbrink. Born in Glen Ellyn, Ill. Plans to major in Exercise Science. Volunteer the her local food bank during high school. Named a Huskie Scholar for earning a GPA above a 3.0.
