Northern Illinois defeated Bowling Green in its 2013 MAC opener at Victor E. Court.

NIU Career Bests: Beam - 9.850 (at Iowa State, 2-15-13)

2013: Member of the All-State Gymnastics Team after placing fourth on balance beam at the State Championships; MAC Specialist of the Week (Jan. 16); Finalist for NIU's Huskie Heart Award for coming back from injury which kept her on the sidelines for the last two seasons. Huskies' balance beam specialist had six top five finishes on beam in 11 meets this year. Ranked tied for sixth in the MAC on the balance beam. Made the line-up for the first time as a junior and took first place on beam in each of her first two meets. Named MAC Specialist of the Week after her win versus Illinois State with a mark of 9.825. Scored 9.750 or higher seven times and earned a score of 9.825 or above in five meets. Scored her career best - and tied for team-high honors - with a 9.850 at Iowa State to place second. Also second versus Kent State and Eastern Michigan with scores of 9.825. Tied for fourth on balance beam at the State of Illinois Classic with a 9.750 in a tightly scored event. Huskie Scholar (3.0-3.5) in NIU's Academic Excellence Program; Named to the Academic All-State Team; Named to the Academic All-State Team.

2012: Saw limited action. Competed on balance beam as an exhibition gymnast. Scored a career high of 9.700 on beam against Bowling Green (2-11). Received a score of 9.550 versus Ball State (2-4).

2011: Did not compete for the Huskies in 2011.

Prep: Member of the USA Gymnastics Level 10 State Championship team for Lafleurs Gymnastics in Tampa, Fla. as a high school senior. Served as team captain of the squad as a senior and competed at Level 10 for two seasons. Qualified for the 2009 Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament in 2009 and won the vault competition with a score of 9.450. Her career best score on vault was a 9.550 at the 2010 State Meet where she tied for fourth. Also earned a 9.550 on vault at the 2009 USAG Region 8 meet. Twice scored a career-best 9.575 on floor exercise during her club career. Took fourth place at the 2010 Region 8 Championships with a 9.575 and hit that mark at the 2009 SCEGA California Classic. Scored a career-high 9.525 on balance beam at the 2009 Junior Olympic N.I.T. to take second place. Won the beam at the 2010 Tampa Bay Classic and at the 2010 Daytona Beach Open with marks of 9.5 and 9.475, respectively. Her career-best all-around score was a 37.050 at the 2009 Regional meet.

Personal: Born Sept. 11, 1991 in Maryland. Daughter of Pamela and Philip Jufko. Plans to major in communications. A Huskie Scholar with a GPA above 3.0.
