Prep: Trained at GymNasti gym in Carol Stream, Ill. Competed at Level 10 for three years. A regional qualifier every season of her club career. Finished eighth in the all-around competition at Illinois state meet her senior year with a score of 35.775. Took fourth on beam at that event with a 9.250 and was seventh on both vault and floor exercise. Earned her personal best time in the all-around of 36.050 at the 2010 USAG Illinois state meet to take 10th place. Scored a career-high 9.350 to place sixth on beam at state. Won the vault with a career-best 9.400 at the Chicago Style meet in 2009. Personal: Daughter of John and Janet Piepenbrink. Born in Glen Ellyn, Ill. Plans to major in Exercise Science. Volunteer the her local food bank during high school. |
