NIU Career Bests:Vault - 9.750 (2x, last at State of Illinois Championships, 3-12-11); Uneven Bars - 9.375 (Exh. vs. Kent State, 2-20-11); Beam - 9.450 (vs. Eastern Michigan, 1-16-11); Floor - 9.825 (3x, last at State of Illinois Championships, 3-12-11). 2011: Competed in every meet for the Huskies on vault and floor exercise, was in three meets on bars (twice as exhibition) and two on balance beam. Averaged a team-leading 9.580 on vault to lead NIU. Went 9.575 or better on vault in six competitions. Had a season average of 9.468 on the floor exercise. Scored above 9.675 in six meets on floor. Earned six top five finishes on the season with two on vault, one on beam and three on floor. Tied her career high of 9.750 on vault at the State of Illinois Classic (3-12) to tie for eighth. Scored 9.675 on vault at Iowa (3-5) and versus Kent State (2-20) and had a 9.650 at Central Michigan (1-30). Took third at UIC (3-1) and at State of Illinois Classic (3-12) on floor exercise with career high score of 9.825 at both meets. Posted a 9.725 on floor exercise in three meets, and took fourth place on the event at Western Michigan (2-13). Also hit that score at Central Michigan and at Iowa. Contributed a 9.675 on floor exercise at Ball State (2-25) and had a 9.600 on the event at the MAC Championships (3-19). Scored a career high of 9.375 on bars against Kent State (2-20). Recorded a pair of top five placings against Eastern Michigan (1-16) with a third-place finish on vault and a fifth-place finish on balance beam. Earned her career-best mark of 9.450 on beam in that meet. 2010: In the Huskie line-up on vault and floor exercise in every meet as a true freshman. Recorded her best scores of the year at the Mid-American Conference Championships (3-27) with a 9.750 on vault and a 9.825 to take seventh place on floor exercise. Took the vault title and was third on floor exercise with scores of 9.700 in a dual meet versus Western Michigan (1-17). Named the MAC Specialist of the Week following that performance. The next week at Bowling Green (1-24), matched her 9.700 on vault and earned a 9.775 on floor to place fourth. Also went 9.775 on floor in a tri-meet at UIC (3-6) to take fifth place. Scored a 9.500 or higher nine times in 11 outings on vault and was above 9.600 seven times. Claimed four top five finishes on vault, including fourth versus Ball State (1-31) with a 9.650. Her season vault average of 9.573 ranked second on the team. Earned a mark of 9.500 or better on floor exercise in eight of 11 meets and scored higher than 9.600 in seven meets. Finished with a top five finish in four meets on floor and was ninth with a 9.625 at the Texas Woman's Quadrangular (2-7). Averaged a 9.550 on floor for the year to rank third on the team. Prep: In her debut season, recorded a third-place finish in the all-around at the USAG State level, and finished 17th in the all-around at the regional level. Her sophomore season, earned titles on the bars, floor, and all-around, and second-place on vault and beam at the USAG State competition. Advanced to Regionals, taking fourth-place on the floor, fifth-place on the vault, and sixth-place in the all-around. At the USAG Nationals, secured three top-ten finishes: tenth on the floor, seventh in the all-around, and fourth on the vault. As a junior, took second-place on the beam and fifth-place in the all-around at the state competition. Advanced to the USAG Regionals, placing eleventh on the floor and thirteenth in the all-around. Earned accolades such as Gymnast of the Year in 2007 and Most Improved on Beam in 2008. Aside from gymnastics, was a member of both the Student Coalition of Positive and Safe Schools and French Club. Additionally, earned academic honors such as Scroll Club, Class Honors, and membership in the National Honor Society. Volunteered over 200 hours in the sports medicine field.
