NIU Career Bests: Bars - 8.725.

2006: Took part in four meets on the uneven parallel bars. Participated on exhibition basis in two season-opening Huskie Triangular meets and versus Bowling Green (2-4). Posted a score of 8.650 in the exhibition outing at Bowling Green. Saw her first official action in the State of Illinois Classic (3-18) where she earned her highest score of 8.725.

2005: Did not crack the Huskie line-up during her sophomore season.

2004: Did not see any action in meets as a true freshman.

Prep: Finished third on the balance beam at the 2001 Illinois state summit, along with a seventh-place showing in the floor exercise and eighth-place on the vault. Member of the Aerial Arena, which won the state USA Gymnastics Level 9 championship in 2001 and took the Level 10 title in 2003. Her freshman year, was 15th on the beam, 16th in the all-around and on the vault, and 19th in the uneven parallel bars at USAG state meet. By the time she was a junior, won the floor, took second in the beam and third on the bars and in the all-around. Placed second on the floor and third in balance beam at the USAG State Competition as a sophomore.

Personal: Majoring in Kinesiology with an emphasis on preventative and rehabilitative exercise science. Born Nov. 22, 1984. Daughter of Nancy and Joe Swantek.
