Prep: Trained at American Academy of Gymnastics in Wheeling, Ill., as well as Northbrook Gymnastics Training Center. Earned a multitude of honors throughout her high school career. As a senior, won conference titles in the all-around, beam, vault, floor, and bars. Placed fifth in the all-around competition at Sectionals her senior year. Her career bests in high school included a 9.6 on beam, 9.65 on bars, 9.6 on vault, and 9.5 on floor exercise. She ended her career with four varsity letters, four most valuable gymnast awards, and was named to the All-State team three times. As a sophomore, placed first at sectionals in the floor and all-around events, won conference title in the all-around, and was third at state on balance beam. Also during that year, in club gymnastics, she placed fifth in the all-around at state in Level 9 competition.
