Women's Soccer : Fall Camp Report

Spent Late May and early June of 2012 teaching soccer, english and various other sports to school children in South Africa. Read the Daily Chronicle's feature story here.

2013 SEASON:
Appeared in all 20 games for the Huskies, totaling over 1830 minutes played in net ... Allowed 34 goals and made 86 saves, good for a .717 save percentage ... Went undefeated in net at home, compiling six wins ... Recorded three shutouts ... Ends Huskie career with 18 shutouts, second all time in NIU history ... Signed with IL Sandviken professional Norwegian women's soccer club following shortly after the season. Click here for more information.

2012 SEASON:
Second team All-Mid American Conference ... Academic All-MAC selection ... Became the first All-MAC goalkeeper in NIU history ... Made 18 appearances with 16 starts ... Allowed 16 goals on the season in 1,620 minutes played (0.89 goals against average) ... Only the second Huskie keeper to record a goals against average under 1.00 in a season ... Carried an 8-8-2 record in net ... Shutout six opponents during the season ... Totaled 53 saves on the year ... Made a season-high eight saves in a 1-0 victory at Kent State (Oct. 19) ... Did not allow a shot on goal to slip past for a score from Sept. 7-30 (542 minutes) ... Three of 16 goals allowed were from the penalty spot ... Moved up to second all-time in career shutouts with 15, trailing former Mid-American Conference record holder Lindsey Curnock (25).

2011 SEASON:
Appeared in 18 games, starting 16 between the posts ... Recorded two clean sheets and 72 saves ... Totaled 1,512:29 minutes at goalkeeper ... Posted a season-high nine saves at Kent State (Oct. 9) ... Finished season with two wins, both shutouts, and two draws to her ledger ... Carried a 1.67 goals against average ... Shared a shutout victory with Meaghan Bennett in 2-0 win against Loyola (Sept. 18) ... Had a 262:24 consecutive-scoreless minutes in net (Sept. 8-23) ... Had five-or-more saves in nine games during the season, including six versus Central Michigan (Oct. 16), Buffalo (Oct. 7), Akron (Sept. 30) and Wisconsin (Sept. 8).

2010 SEASON:

Started all 19 contests between the posts ... named Mid-American Conference player of the week twice, Sept. 20 and Oct. 26 ... second player in program history to receive the MAC award twice in a single season and the first Huskie to be given the honor twice as a freshman ... received the player of the week honor Oct. 26 after leading the Huskies to a pair of victories that secured NIU's place in the MAC tournament ... totaled 71 saves to own a .747 save percentage, and record seven shutouts to rank fourth among MAC competition with shutouts ... tied for third in NIU history for most shutouts in a season, fourth in the NIU record books for career shutouts with seven after a single season ... recorded shutouts against MAC foes Bowling Green, Akron, Buffalo and Ball State ... also tallied shutouts over Creighton, Green Bay and SIU Edwardsville ...registered eight saves in the Huskies' victory over Miami ... held opponents to a 0.390 shot on goal percentage at home, allowing just three goals on NIU's home turf ... helped the Huskies go undefeated in conference play at home this season (4-0-1), while recording a 7-1-1 overall home record ... held Huskie opponents to one goal or less 11 times this season, en route to a 9-8-1 record that gave the Huskies a MAC Tournament berth ... helped NIU to fifth-place marks in the league with 23 goals allowed and 1.26 GAA.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Represented England at an Under-17 level in the European qualifiers, European finals and the first ever women's FIFA Under-17 World Cup in New Zealand ... while training with the England under-17 league, Carr represented England in Holland, Georgia, Czech Republic Switzerland, Slovenia and New Zealand ... competed against some of England's most premiere soccer clubs after joining the Arsenal Centre of Excellence Under-16 Team in 2005 ... joined the premiere Chelsea Ladies Football Club in 2006 ... helped lead the Chelsea Ladies to victory at the Centre of Excellence League championships and the Dana Cup in Denmark ... in 2008, Carr joined the Women's Reading Football Club team ... helped her Reading FC team earn a promotion to the Northern Premier League ... returned to Chelsea Ladies in 2009, where the team earned a second-place finish in the national Reserve League.
