NIU: Despite primary defensive role, stands second among current players in career points with 11.
2005: Greater focus on defensive role for sophomore campaign which included three starting assignments within 11 appearances. Sparked comeback from 2-0 deficit with her lone goal early in second half of 3-2 loss to Wright State (9-2-05). Notched three starts within 11 match appearances.
2004: Led Northern Illinois in goals scored (four) and was second for points (nine) as a freshman playing in (17) all but one contest with 12 starts. Initial collegiate points came off third goal of 4-0 home-opening shutout of Western Illinois (8-30-04). Had four-match scoring spree all versus league foes. Started with assist on matchwinner of 1-0 MAC victory at Marshall (9-12-04) and then provided Huskies' lone goal in three straight contests. Literally beat the clock scoring at 89:59 to force overtime in what would become 1-1 draw with Miami (9-17-04). Then had first-half strike in 1-1 overtime deadlock with Ball State (9-19-04) before coming up with second-half goal in what would become 2-1 OT loss at Western Michigan (9-24-04). Huskie Scholar (3.00 to 3.49 gpa) honoree in NIU's Academic Excellence Program.
Prep: Standout varsity letterwinner for trio of Boylan IHSA Final Four squads -- 2004 state runner-up, 2003 fourth-place unit, and 2002 third-place finisher -- which captured three straight undefeated (8-0) Northern Illinois Conference (NIC-9) titles. Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Sectional and All-NIC-9 as a junior and senior. Named All-State in 2004. Captained 2004 crew which went 17-5-3 and yielded a mere 0.7 goals-per-game. Had nine goals and nine assists as BHS went 51-21-5.
