Lindsey Curnock | Batavia, Ill.

Curnock has played in 78 matches with 74 starts for Northern Illinois. Curnock made an immediate impact on the Huskies' defense. In her freshman season, Curnock started all 21 matches in net, recording seven shutouts on the season, the second-highest total in school history. In just her second season with the Huskies, Curnock set the NIU record for career shutouts with 16, and NIU season shutouts with nine. During the 2007 season, she ranked 14th nationally with a GAA of 0.53. She also earned a nationally-ranked save percentage of 0.839.She was named Academic All-MAC and earned MAC West Player of the week honors. Last season, Curnock started in 18 matches, recording nine shutouts in the season, tying her own NIU season shutout record. She was named to the 2008 CoSida/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District First Team and the Academic All-MAC team. This year, Curnock broke the MAC Career shutout record, when she posted her 28th shutout September 27.

Micaela Damas | Overland Park, Kan.

Damas has started in all 69 matches in which she has played at NIU. In her first season n her first season, Damas started in all 16 matches in which she played. She recorded an assist on the game-winning goal against Western Michigan. Damas also had the lone assist on the only goal scored in the Huskie’s win over Kent State. As a freshman, she was recognized as a Victory Scholar honor. In her second season at NIU, Damas was one of six players to start all 20 matches. As a sophomore Damas was a fundamental part of the NIU defense that allowed a MAC low .70 goals against average. She also achieved Victory Scholar honors for the second-consecutive year. Last year, Damas assisted on a goal at Creighton. She recorded a season-high three shots against Northern Iowa. Micaela also recorded one shot against both central Michigan and Kent State.  This season Damas recorded her first career goal against Liberty on September 20.  Dmas also recorded an assist in the Huskies 2-1 victory over Liberty. This season Damas has started every match with the Huskies.

Audrey Holmer | Elmhurst, Ill.

Holmer has seen action in eight matches, including two starts as a Huskie goalkeeper. Holmer came to Northern Illinois after graduating from York High School. In her freshman season, Holmer earned recognition as a Huskie Scholar. In her second season with the Huskies, Holmer earned four starts on the season.Holmer saw action in six games her sophomore season, leading the Huskies to two wins, Holmer recorded 12 saves for NIU during the 2007 season. In a contest against Bowling Green, Holmer started and played all 90 minutes of the game, recording three saves to lead the Huskies to a 3-2 victory. Holmer earned recognition as a Huskies scholar, for the second-consecutive year. Last season, Holmer recorded time in goal against both Northern Iowa and Western Illinois. She logged 65 minutes of play against Western Illinois, to make one save for the Huskies

Lisa Maier | Orland Park, Ill.

Maier has seen action in 73 games as a Huskie, starting every match in which she has played. As a freshman, Maier was named a Freshman All-MAC Selection after scoring 13 point on five goals and three assists on the season. In the 2006 season Maier recorded goals in against Creighton, Central Michigan, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, and the only goal in MAC Tournament semifinals against Kent State. In just her first game with the Huskies, Maier assisted on the match-winning goal against Eastern Washington. In her second season with NIU, Lisa led the team in assists with five and shots on goal with 18.  Maier tallied a goal against Buffalo to aid in a 2-1 home victory. Last year, Maier led the Huskies for the second-consecutive year in assists with six, including three assists on game-winning goals.  Maier also fired 34 shots on the season, netting a game-winning goal against Southeast Missouri State.  This season, Maier has recorded two goals for four points in the Huskies 4-0 victory over Oakland. Maier has had 16 shot attempts this season with seven shots on goal, ranking third for the Huskies.

Sara McClard | Mokena, Ill.

McClard has played in 53 games with the Huskies, starting in 17 contests.. In her freshman season McClard started 16 of 21 matches with NIU. She scored her first collegiate goal, unassisted, against DePaul. McClard was one of the team’s eight freshman letterwinners. In her second season with the Huskies, McClard played in 10 matches, including MAC contests against Miami (Ohio), Ohio, and Akron. McClard recorded two shots on the season, both against Green Bay. Last season, McClard saw action in 12 matches, recording a shot against Green Bay.  This season, McClard has played in ten matches with Northern Illinois, recording one start in a match-up against Valparaiso. McClard recorded shots in contest against SIU Edwardsville, Southeast Missouri and Valparaiso. McClard also recorded a shot on goal against Southeast Missouri.

Kelly Mullany | Naperville, Ill.

Mullany played in 71 games at NIU, starting all but four games as a Huskie. In her first season at NIU, Mullany scored two goals to total four points on the season. Mullany earned her first collegiate goal when she hit the game-winning goal in the Huskies 1-0 win over Ohio. Mullany also recorded a goal against Miami, Ohio.  In the 2007 season, Mullany was the second-highest goal scorer among the sophomore class. She scored a goal against Central Michigan, before recording the Huskies game-winning goal over Western Michigan. Last season, Mullany tallied 12 shots on the season, including a season-high three at Kent State. Mullany headed the game-winning goal against Ohio, off a cornerkick from Lisa Maier. Mullany also assisted in a goal against Bowling Green during the season. This season, Mullany has started every game with the Huskies. She has recorded 13 shots this season, with six shots on goal. Mullany recorded a season-high three shots against Akron, including one shot on goal in the contest. In a match-up against SIU Edwardsville, Mullany recorded an assist in the Huskies 1-0 win.

Kim Schmitt | Homewood, Ill.

Schmitt played in 42 matches throughout her career, with starts in four contests. In her first season with the Huskies, Schmitt was tied for third on the team in goals with two and six on the team in scoring. Schmitt scored two goals for four points during the season. In her first two college matches Kim scored unassisted goals against Eastern Washington and South Dakota State. Schmitt also earned NIU Victory Scholar Honors as a freshman. In her second season, Schmitt earned victory scholar honors for the second-consecutive year. During the 2008 season, Schmitt appeared in 15 matches with the Huskies. She recorded two shots on the season, with one shot each against Eastern Illinois and Kent State. In her senior season, Schmitt has recorded eight shot attempts, with four shots on goal. Kim has four points on the season, from two goals. She found the back of the net in a match-up against SIU Edwardsville on Sept. 11, before notching her second goal a week later in NIU’s 4-0 win over Oakland.

Jamie Sitter | Spring Grove, Ill.

Sitter has seen action in 32 games as a Huskie. Sitter came to Northern Illinois from Spring Grove, Illinois after graduating from Richmond-Burton High School. In her freshman season at NIU, Sitter played in 17 matches with three starts. Sitter totaled three points on the season. In her college debut she had an assist in NIU’s win over Eastern Washington. Sitter achieved her first career goal in the MAC tournament opening against Ohio. As a freshman Sitter was a Huskie Scholar honoree. In her sophomore season with the Huskies, Jamie played in 11 contests. She put two shots on goal against Western Illinois and DePaul. Sitter tied for the highest shot-on-goal percentage on the team at .667. In the 2007 season, she earned recognition as a Huskie Scholar for the second-consecutive year. After being medically redshirted her junior season, Sitter has bounced back to see action in four games her senior season. Sitter has recorded time in matches against Akron, Loyola Chicago, SIU Edwardsville, and Oakland.

Cara Stutler | Wichita, Kan.

Stutler has played in 52 games as a Huskie, including starts in every game this season. Stutler arrived at NIU from Wichita, Kansas, after graduating from Maize high school. In her freshman year at NIU Stutler played in 18 matches, while starting in 11 games. In her first season with the Huskies Stutler totaled three points with one goal and one assist on the season. In her first collegiate goal, Stutlerscored the winning goal and added an assist in a 2-0 victory over Kent State. In the 2006 season, Stutlerplayed in all 20 matches as a Huskie. She earned her lone start of the season in a match-up against Loyola Chicago. Stutler totaled two points on the season, when she scored the final goal in a 3-0 win over St. Francis. In her final season with NIU, Stutler has started all 14 contests. Stutler has recorded six shot attempts this season, including a season-two shots against Loyola-Chicago on Sept. 13. Stutler has also recorded shots against Buffalo, Toledo, Oakland and Illinois State.
