Named to the Champaign News Gazette team, Decatur Herald All-Area team, and Illinois Coaches Association All-State team junior and senior year... Named to the Okaw Valley All-Conference and All-County teams sophomore, junior, and seniors years... Selected for the "Super Senior 60" by the Illinois Coaches Association... Led the Sages to two regional championships in 2008 and 2009... Voted the Sages offensive player of the year senior year while batting .500 in the lead-off spot... Holds third place in career stolen bases at Monticello High School... Illinois State Scholar and member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Daughter of Ellen and Steve Barrett.
