NIU Student-Athletes held their 2016 awards Monday night, May 2nd, at the Egyptian Theater in DeKalb.

2015: First Team All-MAC honoree...Named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District...Started all 53 games at either catcher or designated player...Finished the year hitting .300 with a .358 on-base percentage and a .465 slugging percentage...Ranked in the top three on the team in hits (51), home runs (6) and RBI (39)...Hit .422 with 26 RBI and eight extra-base hits in conference games...Posted 18 two-out RBI...Hit .342 with runners in scoring position...Had at least one RBI in seven consecutive games from March 28 to April 12, including 13 in a four-game stretch against Bowling Green and Toledo...Scored three runs and knocked in five in a 14-5 run-rule win against Toledo (April 5) that included a game slam, the first by any Huskie since 2013...Knocked in three runs in an extra-inning victory over Ball State (April 18)...Reached base successfully in 23-straight games from March 14 through April 24...Registered 13 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games on the season.

2014: Named an All-Great Lakes Region second team honoree by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association...Garnered second team All-MAC recognition...Started all 57 games for the Huskies, including 42 at catcher and 14 as a designated player...Ranked third on the team with a .330 batting average, while finishing second in slugging percentage (.563) and on-base percentage (.413)...Led the Huskies and ranked second in the MAC in RBIs with 49...Also paced NIU and ranked third in the conference in doubles with 15...Ended the year with 25 extra-base hits, including six home runs...Hit .303 in conference games...Topped the team with 13 multi-RBI games and finished second with 18 multi-hit games...Went 4-of-4, including a double and a home run, with five RBIs and a run scored in the MAC Tournament opener against Buffalo (5/7).

Prior to NIU: Named to the Big South Conference All-Freshmen Team at Radford University...Batted .279 with 32 RBI and 10 home runs in 56 games as a freshman.

High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Oak Forest High School...Named first team All-South Suburban Blue Conference and first team All-Area in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons...Earned first team All-State honors and batted .607 with 50 RBI, 12 home runs and 31 stolen bases in her senior season...Was an ESPN Top 100 recruit in 2012...Gatorade Player of the Year finalist in her junior and senior seasons...Won Southtown Star South Suburban Player of the Year honors in her junior and senior seasons...Named Southtown Star Player of the Year in her junior season in which she batted .634 with 56 RBI, and 12 home runs with 24 stolen bases...Named second team All -State in her junior season...Earned All-State Honorable Mention in her sophomore season... Led Oak Forest to four consecutive regional championships...Won a state championship as a freshman...Three-year varsity letterwinner and All-Conference honoree in basketball.
