2008: Started 25 of 31 games, playing in the outfield at the beginning of the season, and finished in the pitcher's circle...Went 14-of-58 at the plate for a .259 batting average...Had an on base percentage of .322 and a slugging percentage of .315...Drove in four runs while scoring eight...Posted a 4-7 mark in 25 appearances, starting 10 games and completing three...Allowed 47 earned runs in 82 innings for a 5.16 earned run average...Picked up a win against Florida Gulf Coast (2/29/08)...Teamed with Taryn Hagemann to shut out Saint Francis at Florida Gulf Coast Tournament...Finished Pitched the final two innings of NIU's win against Ohio.

High School: As a four-year varsity letterwinner at Vernonia High School, led the Loggers to three consecutive trips to the state tournament...As a freshman pitcher was named honorable mention all-state...Voted team most valuable player in each of her four seasons and named captain as a senior...Selected to the all-conference team in each of her four seasons in the Northwest/Lewis & Clark League...As both a junior and senior, was named all-area most valuable player and Vernonia Athlete of the Year...Named State Player of the Year her junior and senior seasons...In her last season with the Loggers, tallied 16 wins with a 1.16 ERA and had a batting average of .606 with five home runs and 48 runs scored...Spent her summers on the AAU circuit with the Vancouver Power, Glacier Gold and the Beaverton Blaze...Was a National Honor Society member.
