Huskies look to extend their conference winning streak
2012: Participated in 50 of the Huskies' 53 games, starting 37...Started 17 games at catcher, 11 at first base, eight in the designated player spot and one in right field...batted .215 on the season with 23 hits in 107 at bats with 23 hits...Tallied 11 RBIs on the year, including a career-high five RBI performance against Alcorn State (3/10/12), going 2-for-3 with a triple...Led the team in walks with 19...Ended the season with a .215 batting average.
2011: Participated in 36 of 53 games ... Started 30 games, including 20 at third base, five at first, and three behind the plate ... Named second-team CoSIDA Academic All-District... Hit by pitch a team-high seven times and was third in batting average (.337) and on-base percentage (.463) ... Established career highs in hits (29), doubles (8), RBIs (15), walks (140) and runs scored (14) ... Had the team's second-longest hitting streak of the season (13 games) ... Drove in three runs versus Central Michigan (4/2/11) ... Recorded three hits and scored a run at Western Illinois (4/26/11).
2010: Named to the 2010 Academic All-MAC Softball Team... Started 37 of 50 games; 19 games at catcher and 16 at third base... Second on the team in sacrifice flies with two... Made 103 plate appearances with 24 hits, including seven multi-hit games... Tallied career-high 14 RBIs... Posted a .243 batting average and a .300 slugging percentage... Accounted for three of the seven total hits against Ohio (4/10/10), and had best performance of the year after going 3-for-3 at the plate vs. Miami (OH) (5/2/10).
2009: Played in 53 of NIU's 57 games, splitting time between catcher and third base ... Started 29 games at catcher, 16 at third and one as designated hitter ... Led the team in home runs with six, tied for the team lead in doubles with four and second on the squad in slugging percentage (.410) ... Posted a .210 batting average with a .299 on base percentage ... Tallied three multi-hit games on the season ... Had two hits in three plate appearances against Toledo (4/3/09) ... Went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, home run and an RBI at Northwestern (4/22/09) ... Batted .400 (3-for-12) at the 2009 MAC Softball Tournament, going 2-for-4, with two RBI, two runs scored and a home run against Bowling Green (5/7/09).
High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner, two-time team captain and two-time team MVP at Oak Forest High School ... First team all-state as a senior and honorable mention all-state as a junior ... Named to the South Suburban Blue All-Conference first team all four years ... Best season came in her junior year when she recorded a .513 avg., with 23 RBI, 39 hits and a .829 slugging percentage.
