Assistant Softball Coach Jenna Roberts talks about what brought her to NIU and what it means to coach here in DeKalb.

2013: Saw action in 34 games...started five at designated hitter, once at third base, and once in the outfield...was often used as a pinch runner...scored a run in her first game versus Illinois State (2/8/13)...secured her first collegiate hit at Cal Poly (3/8/13)...smashed a double as part of a multi-hit game versus Cal State Northridge (3/12/13).

High School: Named Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC) White Division Player of the Year in 2012 ... Led her 2012 Gordon Tech team in all major offensive categories ... Hit for a .532 clip with 14 home runs in 109 at-bats in her senior season ... Won numerous honors for her 2012 campaign, including team MVP, first-team all-conference, and an appearance in the Super 60 All-Star Game in Peoria ... Helped Gordon Tech to first-ever 2A regional crown in 2012 ... Compiled .524 and .525 averages duriing her freshman and sophomore seasons, respectively ... Slugged 29 career home runs ...
