Assistant Softball Coach Jenna Roberts talks about what brought her to NIU and what it means to coach here in DeKalb.

2013: Saw action in 34 games...started five at designated hitter, once at third base, and once in the outfield...was often used as a pinch runner...scored a run in her first game versus Illinois State (2/8/13)...secured her first collegiate hit at Cal Poly (3/8/13)...smashed a double as part of a multi-hit game versus Cal State Northridge (3/12/13).

High School: Named Girls Catholic Athletic Conference (GCAC) White Division Player of the Year in 2012 ... Led her 2012 Gordon Tech team in all major offensive categories ... Hit for a .532 clip with 14 home runs in 109 at-bats in her senior season ... Won numerous honors for her 2012 campaign, including team MVP, first-team all-conference, and an appearance in the Super 60 All-Star Game in Peoria ... Helped Gordon Tech to first-ever 2A regional crown in 2012 ... Compiled .524 and .525 averages duriing her freshman and sophomore seasons, respectively ... Slugged 29 career home runs ... Averaged 12 ppg in basketball as a senior ... Lettered in volleyball, winning a 2A regional plyaing outside hitter ... Was secretary in student government as well as a member of the math and yoga clubs.
