NIU Softball to Host Hitting Clinic

DEKALB, Ill. - The Northern Illinois University softball team will be holding a hitting clinic for varsity level high school players and elite travel softball players ages (15-18) Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Northern Illinois University Recreation Center. There are two two-hour sessions with the first session starting at 2 p.m. and the second beginning at 4:30 p.m. The fee for the clinic is $50 and includes an NCAA compliance presentation, game play and top-level instruction from NIU coaches and players. The 2010 NIU Softball Hitting Clinic is designed for the experienced softball player who intends to play softball at the collegiate softball. Campers should bring their own glove, helmet, bat, catcher's gear (if applicable) and appropriate practice attire.
