2015-16 SEASON: 10-12 overall record in fall, including five singles victories...Finished second in both the Singles Go flight and doubles Flight A at the UIC Invite (Oct. 3)...named NIU Female Scholar Athlete of the Week on Oct. 5 for her performance at the UIC Invite...

2014-15 SEASON:
19-15 overall record in spring, including a 10-2 mark in doubles playing in the No. 1 tandem with Nelle Youel...Posted a 13-9 combined record in the fall, winning seven singles matches and six doubles encounters... Won the Singles B flight at the UIC Invitational, beating Oana Manole from UIC in a dramatic three-set final.

2013-14 SEASON:
Made strides in her sophomore season to lead the team in wins singles wins with 17... Turned in an outstanding fall season, going 8-2 in three events... Played at No, 2, 3, and 5... Went 4-12 in doubles play, teaming up mostly with Maria Rozo.

Spring 2013:
Turned in a 14-10 record singles record, playing in No. 5 and 6 matches... Went 7-11 in doubles matches... Played primarily with Mary Malkin in doubles, but also added a couple with Stephanie McDonald... Won six straight singles matches from Feb. 10 to Mar. 2.

Fall 2012: Finished her first fall season with a 5-5 singles record... Three of her five victories were in straight sets, defeating Nebraska - Omaha (6-3, 6-0), South Dakota (6-0, 6-1), and Chicago State (6-2, 6-3)... In doubles, Alvarez and her partner Haley Dekkinga finished the fall with a 4-5 record, recording back-to-back wins on two occasions while also capturing a consolation title at the Drake Invitational... At ITA Regionals in Rockford, Ill., placed third in her singles draw.

Personal: Born November 23, 1994 in Zaragoza, Spain... Daughter of Cristina Moreno and Cesar Alvarez...Graduated from Cristorey and Sagrado Corazon De Jesus...attends on majoring in electrical engineering...hobbies include reading, playing music, and watching movies...admires Rodger Federer and Justine Henin because of the way they play.
