2013-14 SEASON: Winner of 2014 Leann Grimes Davidge award, given by the Mid-American Conference to an athlete who shows excellent sportsmanship ... Playing at No. 2, 3, and 4, finished the season with a 9-17 singles record ... A mainstay in doubles play, going 12-16 while playing with Stephanie McDonald ... Played at No. 2 and 3 in doubles.

Spring 2013:
Went 13-11, playing all of NIU's No. 2 singles matches ... Finished with an 11-13 record in doubles, playing mostly with Stephanie McDonald, but also adding games with Maro Rozo, Ilse Pacheco, and Arantza de la Torre ... Began season winning 10 of 12 singles matches (Jan. 25 to Mar. 2).

Fall 2012: Opened the 2012 fall season with a 5-4 singles record ... Won three consecutive matches in straight sets against Western Michigan (7-5, 6-4), Valparaiso (6-0, 6-0), and Western Illinois (6-0, 6-0) ... Earned her way to an all-NIU consolation title at the DePaul Invitational ... Finished the fall season with a 4-5 doubles record with her partner Cristina Alvarez, winning a consolation title at the Drake Invitational ... At ITA Regionals in Rockford, Ill., she earned a third place finish in her singles draw.

2011-2012: Earned Honorable Mention Academic All-MAC status ... During the fall season complied a 4-5 singles record along with a 6-2 doubles record with partner Nelle Youel ... Won first three matches of the fall season against Eastern Illinois (8-2), Lewis (8-0), and Ball State (8-5) ... During the spring earned a 12-9 mark playing mostly at the No. 3 spot ... Her record earned her one of the two above .500 winning percentages on the team ... Twice had winning streaks of three matches or more ... Her longest being a four-game winning streak, beating Valparaiso (6-1, 6-0), Western Illinois (6-0,6-0), Eastern Michigan (6-0, 6-1), and Toledo (7-5, 6-2) ... In doubles, earned a 13-11 record with multiple partners, which tied her for seventh all-time in Huskie history for doubles victories in a season ... Won a total of 36 matches between the fall and spring season.

2010-2011: Finished with the most singles wins on the team as a freshman with 6...Compiled a total record of 10-28 in both singles and doubles play...Won five of her matches in the No. 5 position... One of two Huskies to win back-to-back matches on the season.

Prior to NIU/High School: Garnered all-state honors all four years during high school...Compiled 53 career shutouts, which is the second most in the history of the state of Michigan...Named team MVP as a senior and freshman...Team took a pair of second and fourth place finishes in state during her four years...As an individual, reached the state semifinals as a junior.

Personal: Born July 14, 1992 in Grand Rapids, Mich....Daughter of Melissa Roe Dekkinga ...Graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and in the top ten of her class...admires Andre Agassi for the composure he displayed on the tennis court.
