Opened the season with three consecutive victories over Wichita State (6-1, 6-0), North Dakota (6-1, 6-0), and Wichita State (3-6, 6-4, 6-3) ... Won three consecutive matches for a second time defeating Illinois State (6-1, 6-1), Milwaukee (7-6, 1-6, 10-4), and Eastern Michigan (2-6, 6-1, 7-5) ... Youel received an invite to the prestigious USTA/ITA Midwest Regional singles draw, the first Huskie to receive such an invite in over a decade, and won her first match over Eastern Michigan ... Her run to compete in the USTA/ITA Indoor Collegiate Championships in Flushing, N.Y. at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center came to an end in the second round ... In doubles play, Youel and her partner Arantza De La Torre finished with a 4-2 record, recording three consecutive victories over Valparaiso (8-3), DePaul (8-6), and Western Michigan (8-2) en route to a consolation title at the DePaul Invitational. 2011-2012: Finished her first fall season as a Huskie with a 6-3 record ... Won three consecutive matches on two separate occasions and was the only Huskie to finish the fall with a .500 or better record during singles play ... During doubles play partnered with Haley Dekkinga for a 6-2 record while winning their first three matches ... Her spring season was also successful with a 14-8 record ... Led the Huskies in wins (14) with two different three-match streaks and a four-match streak, defeating Southern Illinois (6-3, 2-6, 6-3), Milwaukee (6-4, 6-1), Bethune Cookman (6-4, 6-0), and Embry Riddle (6-1, 6-3) ... Went 11-11 in doubles play, partnering a majority of the time with Arantz De La Torre ... Won three consecutive matches against North Dakota (8-3) Bradley (8-4) and Eastern Illinois (8-4) ... Finished her rookie season as a Huskie with a team leading 38 victories.
