DELAND, Fla-The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team fell to Stetson, 7-0 Monday.

The Huskies (2-5) were unable to get into a flow all match long. Brooke Forsberg (Moline, Ill./Moline) pushed her opponent, Megan Jones in the first set, falling 7-6. Forsberg was then blanked in the second set, 6-0. Dora Delgadillo (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores) was defeated by Katherine Nowicki in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.

Forsberg and Lilian Asuaje (Monterrey, Mexico/American School Foundation of Monterrey) had the best performance from the Huskies doubles team, falling to stetson's No. 1 doubles team, 8-6.

The Huskies will be back in action Tuesday, March 11, 2008 when NIU takes on Embry-Riddle at 3:30 Central time.
