2009: Cross Country - Scored in all six meets... was the second Huskie to cross the finish line at the MAC Championships (11/1), finishing in a season-best 19:02...took third among NIU runners at the Roy Griak Invite (9/27) and the Bradley Cross Country Classic (10/17)... improved her six-kilometer time by over a minute between those two meets, from 24:46 to 23:43. Indoor - Ran her best race of the year with a 10:58.75 3,000m run at the MAC Championships (2/28)... took fifth in the mile at the Illinois Intercollegiate (1/31), running a personal best time of 5:30.95... set a then-personal record of 11:11.82 in the 3,000m run at the Carle/Health Alliance Invitational (1/24)... reset her career-best 3,000m time at the CMU Quadrangular (2/6) with an 11:06.72 mark. 2008 Highlights: (Cross Country) Recorded a personal-best time of 19:47.05 at the George Dales Invite (10/12/07), finishing 19th at the event... clocked-in at 20:02 at the Illinois Intercollegiate (9/14/07), where she was the third Huskie across the finish line... scored for the Huskies at the MAC Championships (10/27/07) with a time of 20:04.6... finished the 6k course at the NCAA Midwest Regional (11/10/07) in a career-best 24:02. (Indoor) Ran for a personal best in the 1,000m at the EIU Mega Meet (1/19/08) with a time of 3:23.64... achieved a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:59.08 at the Carle/Health Alliance Classic (1/26/08)... took home a personal best in the 3,000 with a time of 11:25.68 at the Tadd Metzger Invite (2/2/08). High School: Compiled eight varsity letters at Dixon High School (four letters for track and cross country)... a four-time first team all-conference performer in cross country... named team captain prior to her junior and senior seasons... twice qualified for the state championship, in the 4x400m relay and in the 3200m run... voted MVP for her efforts during her junior and senior year... made all-conference for her efforts in the 4x400m relay in 2005 and her performance in the 1600m in 2006... left Dixon, joining former Huskie Jessica Schauff as the only female athletes in school history to be named to the NCIC First Team all four years.
