2006 Highlights: Placed third in the shot put (43'3") at the EIU Mega Meet (1/21/06)...won the shot put with a heave of 47'3" at the Chicagoland Championships (2/17/06)...finished seventh overall in the shot put (46'1 ½") at the MAC Indoor Championships (2/25/06)...claimed the shot put title with a toss of 46'6" at the Chicagoland Championships (4/8/06)...took home first place in the shot put (47'3 ½") at the Kip Janvrin Simpson College Open (4/28/06)...that mark was good for an automatic berth in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Regional Championships...garnered a personal-record throw of 145'6" in the hammer throw at the Toledo Triangular (4/13/06). 2005 Highlights: Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Regionals in the shot put...picked up a runner-up finish in the shot put (44'4") at the Chicagoland Championships (2/18/05)...claimed the shot put title at the EIU Mega Meet (1/22/05) with a toss of 43'7 ¼"...earned a runner-up finish in the shot put (45'8 ½") at the Chicagoland Championships (4/9/05)...won the shot put event at the Central Collegiate Championship (4/23/05) with a toss of 47'4 ½"...finished second overall in the shot put (47'1 ¾") at the Redbird Invitational (4/30/05). 2004 Highlights: Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Regionals in the shot put...won the shot put title at the Central Collegiate Championships (1/23/04) with a toss of 46'1 ¼"...took home the shot put title (44'7 ½") at the Eastern Illinois Quadrangular on (1/31/04)...captured the shot put title at the Chicagoland Championships (2/20/04) with a heave of 46'0"...finished third overall in the shot put (45'5 ¾") at the Lee Calhoun Invitational (4/10/04)...placed third in the shot put (44'2") at the Western Illinois Open (5/1/04). Prep / Personal: Earned the 2003 IHSA Class AA shot put title with a heave of 43'8"...won four consecutive Suburban Prairie Conference shot put championships and a trio of discus titles at the league summit...named to four straight All-SPC squads and awarded three Most Valuable Performer accolades by her Elmwood Park High School teammates...left EPHS as the all-time school record holder in both the shot put (43'11") and the discus (116'0")...Major - Physical Education...Birthdate - July 8, 1984.
