Day’s sensational freshman season will continue in Arkansas, as her school-record high jump mark of 5-10.00 (1.78m) at the Blue Demon Invitational April 19 helped clinch her spot in the regional meet. That mark is currently the 22nd-best in the West Region and is only 2.75 inches from the top mark.

Joining Day in the field events in Sherrill, who earned her spot with her own school record of 170-00 (51.82m) that she set May 10 at the Wisconsin Open. The junior from Fort Wayne, Indiana, sits 34th in the West.

On the track, Heuer - who garnered second team All-MAC recognition in the 1500 meters at the conference meet last weekend - earned her trip to the Natural State with her record-setting run of 2:08.54 May 10 in Wisconsin and ranks 34th in the field, but is just two seconds out of ranking in the Top 20. Meanwhile, Olson sits 41st in the field based on her 2:08.93 clip May 10 at Wisconsin.

The top 12 finishers in each event at the NCAA West Prelims advance to the NCAA National Championships, which will take place June 10-13 in Eugene, Oregon.
