DeKALB, Ill. - The Northern Illinois volleyball team announced its 2010 spring schedule today and will play two dates at home, two on the road as the Huskies tune-up and prepare for their fall season next school year.

NIU will begin its spring competition on Saturday, March 20th with the annual Salvani Spring Playdate in honor of former Huskie volleyball player Karen Salvani (1998). Matches will be held from 8:30 a.m. CDT to 5:00 p.m., and fans can watch for free at the NIU Rec Center that is located at the corner of Lucinda Avenue and Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb.

On the following Saturday (March 27th), the Huskies will host their second all-day playdate at the NIU Rec Center, and fans are encouraged to take advantage of free attendance again.

Two weeks later, the Huskies will travel to Chicago for Loyola's Three Wise Men tournament on April 10th before ending their spring competition with Northwestern's playdate on April 17th.
