DeKALB, Ill. – Comcast SportsNet Chicago will televise two Northern Illinois volleyball matches this season, as contests Sept. 28 at Bowling Green and Oct. 31 against Western Michigan will both air in tape-delay.

In addition, the Mid-American Conference has announced that both matches will be shown live on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.com.

The NIU-Bowling Green match, which is a rematch of the exciting five-set MAC Tournament championship tilt of a year ago, will air on CSN Chicago Sunday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m. CT. Meanwhile, the Huskies’ Halloween night home match versus the Broncos of Western Michigan can be seen later that night at 8 p.m. CT. The station will also carry the 2013 MAC Tournament championship match in tape-delay Sunday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. CT.

CSN Chicago will televise both NIU matches across its entire coverage area, which includes approximately 4.8 million homes in Illinois, Iowa, northwestern Indiana and southern Wisconsin.

Huskie fans outside CSN Chicago’s viewing area can catch the matches live on ESPN3, WatchESPN.com and MAC-Sports.com. ESPN3 is available through internet providers while WatchESPN requires a video subscription from an affiliated provider. This year, users accessing WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN mobile application via an on-campus (.edu) or on-base (.mil) network receive complimentary access to ESPN3 games. Direct links to these matches will be available the week of each match.
