Walsh (Evergreen Park) posted a career-high, 22 kills, leading
four Huskies in double-digit kills, pushing NIU to the 21-30, 30-27,
30-28, 25-30, 15-12 Mid-American Conference victory over Central
Michigan at Rose Arena on Friday night.
blocker Kate McCullagh (Woodstock) tallied 19 kills, followed
by 12 kills from freshman middle blocker Joelle Beisel (Rossville,
IN) and 11 kills from sophomore outside hitter Amy Ward (Sycamore).

Head Volleyball Coach Ray Gooden said. "But we needed
all four of those players to help get us through this match."

NIU improves to 10-9 overall and 3-2 in Mid-American Conference
play, while the Chippewas fall to 3-12 on the campaign and 0-5 in
