University volleyball teams met, the Cardinals left Victor E. Court

percentage of .425 (51 kills, 6 errors, 106 attacks) to the Huskies'
clip of .112 (37 kills, 23 attacks, 125 errors).
With the victory,
Ball State improves to 14-8 overall and 7-4 in Mid-American Conference
play, while the Huskies fall to 12-14 on the campaign and 4-7 in
NIU junior middle
blocker Kate McCullagh (Woodstock) recorded a double-double
of 12 kills and 10 digs, followed by 11 kills from fellow middle
blocker Corinne Walsh (Evergreen Park). Sophomore outside
hitter Laura Baetzel (Chicago) turned in the most impressive
outing for NIU with eight kills, finishing with a hitting percentage
of .438 (8 kills, 1 error, 16 attacks).
