2010: Cross Country- Ran in three meets during the season... finished a season-high 62nd place at the Huskie Open (9/11), crossing the finish line in 21:57.30. Indoor-Placed ninth at the Eastern Illinois Invitational (12/11) with a personal-best time of 6:17.09 in the one-mile run... earned a 12th-place finish at the Ball State Quadrangular (2/18) in the 3000-meter dash with a time of 12:15.79. Outdoor - Competed in the 5,000-meter run at the Viking Olympics, running a time of 21:38.00. High School: Ran track all four years, earning varsity letters in her sophomore and junior campaigns ... also played soccer her freshman, sophomore, and junior years ... three-year varsity letterwinner for soccer ... played collegiate soccer at Ferris State University for one year before transferring to NIU ... also participated as a member of Raptors/Dactyls FC and Rockford United soccer clubs. Personal: Daughter of Barbara and Joe Downin ... admires the Chicago Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews ... majoring in elementary education ... born January 18, 1989.
