Huskie Athletic Support Fund (HASF) is the official support group of Northern Illinois University Athletics. Supporters of the HASF donate their financial support, their services, and their time to directly benefit NIU student-athletes.
Funds raised through the HASF directly support NIU sports programs. This support is critical to the success of all NIU programs as each program is faced with the rising costs of recruiting, travel and competition.
DID YOU KNOW?
- For the fourth straight year, HASF finished its annual fund drive with record-breaking figures in both number of donors and in dollars raised.
- The HASF 2010 Annual Fund drive concluded with 1,525 donors contributing $1,315,420.09 as gifts surpassed the million-dollar mark for the fourth consecutive year.
- Over the last three years, the average HASF donation has quadrupled in size and for 2010, a total of 253 donors increased their gift from the previous year. In addition, the HASF welcomed 279 new donors.
- A portion of HASF dollars directly support our Student-Athlete Academic Support Services (SAASS) unit, which assisted our 475 student-athletes in posting an outstanding ELEVENTH straight semester with a cumulative grade point average exceeding 3.0.

By contributing to the HASF, you are helping to provide essential resources for all 17 sport programs. In addition to the benefits listed in this brochure, you will enjoy the fulfillment of providing a first class experience for our deserving student-athletes, both academically and athletically.

Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. There are flexible pledge and payment schedules for ANY budget!
