Week's Achievements: Pawlak helped Northern Illinois pile up season-highs in first downs (33), rushing yards (355) and total yards (542) en route to a 47-30 victory over Cal Poly. Pawlak, a native of Grayslake, Ill., also opened up holes in the line for Jasmin Hopkins's 143 yard rushing effort, while allowing quarterback Chandler Harnish to accumulate 305 yards of total offense on the day. Week's Achievements: Angelos helped NIU go 1-1 in the Mid-American Conference opening weekend as she led the team in hitting percentage (.389) and blocks (8) while tallying 17 kills (2.43/set). In a sweep of Central Michigan to begin NIU's MAC slate, she put up a season-high five blocks and added four kills. During a 3-1 loss to Eastern Michigan, she totaled a season-high 13 kills while hitting .500 and added three blocks.
