SOCCER ALUMNI GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Northern Illinois men's soccer team celebrated its annual Alumni Day, Saturday. Among the festivities (other than former NIU goalkeeper Joe Zimka scoring a hat trick in the actual alumni game) was the Huskies' 4-0 defeat of Green Bay in the team's final game of the spring season. Check out highlights from the game above.

WRESTLING RECRUITS PLACE NATIONALLY
Dave Grant is always watching.
This straight from Associate Head Wrestling Coach Ryan Ludwig on how the 2009-10 wrestling recruits did at NHSCA Senior Nationals, basically the biggest high school tournament of the year:
Two of the three recruits we signed in the early recruiting period last fall competed in the NHSCA Senior National tournament in Virginia Beach, VA. Jon McGookey made it to the national semi-finals, before placing 6th to garner All-American status at 152. Zack Benzio lost his first bout and battled all the way back through a really tough field to place 7th at 189. Benzio defeated the 2008 NHSCA Junior national champion (Boley) en route to garnering all-american status. Zach Neibert did not compete in the event, however, he was the NHSCA junior national champion a year ago at 119. You can find complete results from the tournament at www.nhsca.com.
PRACTICE MOVED TO WEDNESDAY
Today's football practice has been moved to tomorrow. The wind and rain today will just slow things down, and since you're only allowed a limited amount of spring practices (15), I think the coaches want to take full advantage of each one. As always, tomorrow's practice will be open to the public for you early-risers.
