Week's Achievements: Xavier Silas led the Huskies in points (34, 16.0 per game) and steals (4, two per game) during a week that saw NIU outscore No. 10 Missouri 44-40 in the second half during a loss and win its second straight home game with an 86-76 decision over Utah Valley.  Against Missouri, Silas scored eight points with six rebounds and two steals, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.  In the victory over Utah State, Silas led all scorers with 26 points.  The nation’s third leading scorer (24.5 PPG) also notched three assists, two steals, and went 11-for-12 from the charity stripe against the Wolverines.
 Week's Achievements: Kim Davis tallied her first double-double as a Huskie with a 12-point, 10-rebound effort in Northern Illinois' 70-59 win over Loyola.  Davis went 4-of-6 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free throw line.  She scored baskets and grabbed rebounds at crucial moments of the game, scoring nine points in the second half alone, to help NIU stay undefeated at home.
