Week's Achievements: Baxter played a large part in the Huskies' nationally-televised 31-24 win over Toledo on Wednesday. The senior from Buffalo Grove, Ill., posted four tackles on the night and 1.5 sacks of UT quarterback Terrance Owens, while constantly getting pressure on the Rocket backfield for most of the game. Baxter's performance keyed an overall strong showing by the Huskie defense, which forced four turnovers and held the potent Rocket offense to 24 points. Week's Achievements: Roddy was instrumental in NIU's run to the MAC Tournament title match over the weekend in Geneva, Ohio. The sophomore began the weekend with a team-high 15 kills and 16.5 points to her credit in a 3-1 win over Akron in the quarterfinals. In the Huskies' 3-2 upset over top-seeded Ohio, Roddy registered 17 kills, two block assists and 18 points to help NIU advance to its third consecutive MAC title match. She scored 15 points against Bowling Green as Northern came up short in a 3-2 loss.
