Week's Achievements: Amir finished his weekend 4-1, including a perfect 3-0 record in singles play in the Huskies perfect weekend with wins over Dayton, Valparaiso and UIC. Amir was perfect Friday with two wins at No. 2 singles and one at No. 1 doubles with Frederic Cadieux. Locked at 7-7 in their match against Dayton, the Huskies clinched the doubles point to end doubles before Amir and Cadieux could finish the match. Amir now owns a 5-1 singles record and a 3-2 doubles mark with Cadieux this sping.
Week's Achievements: Sutter put together the best all-around performance of her career Saturday in the Huskies 192.875-192.775 victory over Southeast Missouri State at the Convocation Center. Sutter, Northern Illinois' final performer of the meet, scored a season-best 9.825 on floor exercise, the highest single score of the meet, to push the Huskies past SEMO. Sutter's 9.700 scores on both uneven parallel bars and balance beam were good for third place, while she opened competition with a 9.625 on vault. Her 38.850 total is a career high for the senior who has competed in the all-around for NIU for the first time this season.
