Week's Achievements: Nabal Jefferson played a huge role on defense in Northern Illinois’23-20 Marathon MAC Championship win against Ohio Friday in Detroit. The junior’s six tackles tied a career-high, while his tackle for loss in the first quarter stopped Ohio’s drive inside the Huskie 15-yard line and limited the Bobcats to a field goal. Jefferson has a career-high 41 tackles so far in 2011. Week's Achievements: Lauren Wicinski led the Huskies with 23 kills during NIU's sixth NCAA Tournament appearance over the weekend. Against the No. 25 Miami Hurricanes, she also tallied six digs and a block. The 20-plus kill performance was the 16th of the season for the nation's leader in kills.
