| Week's Achievements: CKlonowski hurled his way to a Huskie victory Sunday at Belmont, 8-2, for his fourth-straight quality start of the season. The junior earned his second victory of the season with his eight innings of work, striking out two and scattering seven hits, none for extra base hits, in the effort. It was the third-consecutive game that he pitched at least eight innings. Klonowski only allowed runs in the second inning of work, posting zeroes on the scoreboard in seven innings of his eight. He only allowed one earned run in his outing. |
Week's Achievements: Burr opened her outdoor season Friday with a career-best performance at the USF Bulls Invitational in Tampa, Fla. The sophomore from Onalaska, Wis., placed second in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:37.41 - nearly one and a half seconds better than her previous PR. Burr, who trailed only teammate Meghan Heuer to the finish line, is now ranked second in the MAC in the 1500 meters. |
