Week's Achievements: Kyle Glancy stepped onto the mound for two save appearances this weekend at Eastern Michigan and did not fail for the Huskies as he earned his ninth and 10th saves of the season for Northern Illinois in 1-0 and 3-1 victories on Friday and Sunday, respectively. Glancy totaled 2.2 innings for the Huskies and did not surrender a hit in his two appearances and struck out three of the eight batters he faced. The Oak Park, Ill. native maintained Taylor Nawrocki's two-hit, eight inning shutout Friday as the pair earned their second combined shutout of the season. He became only the third pitcher in NIU history to record double-digit saves twice in his career as well and is third all-time with 22 saves, four shy of tying the all-time mark of 26.
Week's Achievements: Senior Kelsie Passolt finished her NIU career on a high note, turning in her lowest score of the season for a three-round event carding a 223 (78-80-75) to tie for eighth place, a career-best finish at the MAC Championships. Passolt's final round 75 was her lowest round of the season, while her 223 is her lowest score at a MAC Championship. She improved her score and place from last year's MAC Championships where she finished tied for 33rd with a 248 and Passolt's final round 75 was the lowest score she turned in at the MAC Championship.
