|Week's Achievements: Sophomore Alex Klonowski was Mr. Everything for the Huskies in their five games last week as he started five games at second base and pitched in both of Northern Illinois' midweek games. At the plate the Kearney, Mo. native was NIU's top-hitter for the week with an 8-for-20 weekend (.400) with two RBI, including a 3-for-4 day against Central Michigan May 5 and broke up a shutout May 1 against Northwestern in the Huskies 2-1 loss. On the mound, Klonowski earned his third victory of the season at UIC with his no-hit, two strikeout performance in the ninth inning. All told, he pitched 2.0 innings, struck out three and did not allow an earned run for the Huskies.
||Week's Achievements: Carly Norton saw action in both games for NIU this week. Norton batted .500 on the week, going 1-for-2 with an RBI and a fielding percentage of 1.000. In Saturday’s contest at Western Michigan, Norton came in to pinch hit and delivered with an RBI double to left center field. Norton stayed in the game to play right field.
